Who We Are &

What We Are About

Our Savior Lutheran Church is dedicated to serving God in all that we do and seeking to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ with all whom we encounter, inside the walls of our church and out. Our Ministry Staff:

Pastor GibbsReverend Karl Gibbs, Pastor

Pastor Karl Gibbs, along with his wife, Stephanie, and their four children; Michaela, Noah, and Isaac, came to Our Savior in March 2011. A daughter, Tabitha, was welcomed into the family in December 2013. Before receiving the Call to Our Savior, Pastor Gibbs earned his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO in February 2011. In May 2003, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Concordia University in Seward, NE. His passion for ministry is visiting both the churched and the unchurched in their homes that the message of Christ can meet people in a most intimate way.

Kendra Morts

Kendra Morts, Administrative Assistant

Kendra is an invaluable asset to the ministry team at Our Savior. She manages the office, prepares the weekly service folders, monthly newsletters, and any other odd tasks that Pastor Gibbs throws her way. When not busy at church (and even when she is), Kendra is an awesome mom to Ethan, Emma, and Evelyn.

Stephanie GibbsStephanie Gibbs, Music Director

The Lord complemented Pastor Gibbs’ skill sets quite well when He brought Stephanie into Pastor’s life. While Pastor has absolutely no musical ability, his wife Stephanie has been blessed with an abundance of musical talents which she uses to bring God glory in many different areas of the church. Stephanie graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE as a Director of Parish Music. She directs Our Savior’s Adult Choir, the children’s Sunday School chorus, the annual Children’s Christmas Eve Service, as well as serving as one of the organists for the Divine Service. In addition to all of that, she is the wonderful mom of Michaela, Noah, Isaac, and Tabitha.
