PEOPLE – Each of us consists of body and soul. To supply the needs of the body, our community boasts of stores offering food, clothing, meat, drink, and so on.

CHURCH – We are only in one business, and that is to save souls and to nourish those who are saved. And there is only one way of doing that—God’s way: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31), “Through faith [you] are being shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation” (1 Peter 1:5). We therefore teach and preach nothing but the Bible, the whole Bible. This is all we offer. It is our only talking point. Not politics. Not a pretentious church building. Not a man-made religion. Not a wonderful choir or organ. Only and simply this:

“We preach Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2)

BIBLE – We believe that the Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testaments, in their entirety and all their parts, are the inspired Word of God. As the revelation of God, it is unalterable and complete, requiring no additions to its teachings from any source whatsoever.

GOD – We believe that God is “the Lord of Heaven and earth … who has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth” (Acts 17:24-26), who has revealed Himself as the Triune God or Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST – We believe that Jesus Christ is God and man, born of the Virgin Mary by the miraculous power of God, and live a holy and perfect life on earth, died on the cross for our sins in our place, rose to life in His glorified body three days after His death on the cross; and that He will come again at the end of time as the righteous judge of the world.

MAN – We believe that man was created in the beginning an intelligent and moral being, with body and soul. However, although created holy and innocent, man of his own free choice fell into sin, thus separating himself from God.

SIN – We believe that sin is every transgression of the divine Law, and that man is subject to death and eternal damnation by reason of the guilt that attaches to sin.

REDEMPTION – We believe that God, out of pure mercy, redeemed mankind from sin through the substitutionary life and death of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for the guilt of the entire world.

FAITH – We believe that if men repent and believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, their sins are forgiven, and they can live confidently in His name.

SACRAMENTS – The Lord’s Supper and Baptism were given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ to work faith in our hearts and through His Word, forgiveness of sins—assuring us of eternal life with God in Heaven.
